2014
Manka Angwafo and a small team of friends and family built a modest grain elevator facility to support smallholder maize farmers in Babessi, Cameroon.
2018
The Anglophone crisis severely disrupted business operations, forcing the team to shut down the facility and relocate to the Center region.
2019
Operations relaunched in the Center region, serving approximately 100 farmers and supplying conditioned grain to poultry farmers for feed.
2021
Began supplying mycotoxin-free grain to SABC for brewing, expanding to a network of 500 farmers. GAAD now sources from over 2,000 farmers across Cameroon’s Center and East regions.
2023
Launched BooWee, Cameroon’s first commercial instant fermented corn porridge, now available in major supermarkets nationwide.
